If you have a teething or soon to be teething baby then I know your ears are going to prick up. With a 14 month old daughter of my own we’ve tried everything from gels to calpol to help with teething pain. Whilst our son got through teething with only the odd grumble, this time round Isabelle really suffers including developing a cold every time a tooth starts to cut. Then we came across Gumigem Teething Necklaces and were really impressed. Most babies love to pull and chew on their Mummy’s (or Daddy’s) necklaces which isn’t ideal for putting in their mouths.
A Gumigem Teething Necklace is worn by Mummy (or Daddy) and can be chewed, sucked and played with safely by baby to help soothe the pain of teething. The cord has a break-away clasp and the pendent can be sterilsed for hygeine. Gumigem Necklaces come in an array of colours and shapes and look like a normal necklace, but the pendent is made from silicone.
These make the ideal present for a new mum or mum-to-be.

A little crushed ice in a Nuby feeding net for baby to suck on without the risk of choking (or brain freeze!). Add a little natural fruit juice to the ice for some refreshing variety.
