Win a Family Calendar 2012 – Winner – Claire Parkinson – Congratulations!
As a working Mother everything has to be organised and noted down. Whether your a stick it on the fridge kinda mum, keep a tight diary or scribble it on the back of a starbucks napkin we all crave to be organised. Where work is concerned I am highly (or like to think I am) organised, but this isn’t always the case when I’m at home (hence I still have some Christmas shopping to do).
I do, however, like to keep note of all the activities, events and meet-ups with friends on the calendar and at the moment my method is different coloured pens for different types of things.
Cue the Family Calendar! The Family Calendar has five different columns for each person in the house, and a further column to note down any birthdays. Each month there is a pocket where you can store any unpaid bills, receipts or even birthday cards for that particular month. It’s a great calendar and is easy to view upcoming events.
The K Two Products range has something for everyone to make life slightly easier by keeping you organised. They have everything from Family Calendars, Birthday Card Books, Recipe Files to Baby Journals. All stylish and very reasonably priced as a present or for yourself.

I carry my diary everywhere and write everything down!
Make the men sit and watch the telly and look after the kids in the living room whilst leaving time for the cooks are in the kitchen. We keep them away from under our feet so we can get the dinner sorted.
A whiteboard which I update every month to keep up with birthdays, parties and school trips etc
I have a white-board which all the important stuff goes on…Letters get stuck on the fridge and I set dates in the calander on my phone
Without lists nothing will be done in our family (and my gentle pushing!).

I have just realised that although I did all the other bits I never left my how I keep organised – I have a combination of a few alarms – my mobile (which goes everywhere with me), My laptop has an alarm system set through a diary which reminds me of any upcoming events, we have a white board for weekly memos and reminders set up in the hall right by the front door (this is updated every Sunday) and if its mega important I ask my mum to remind me aswell. I have m.e. and fibromyalgia, both of which have memory issues as a symptom – Brain fog, fogetting words when speaking and memory lapses – hence why I have a fail safe procedure. I believe the only way this could be improved would be to back up the computerised diary with a paper family calendar NEXT to our white board. xxx
