Baby Comp Weekly 29.01.13

Oops I missed last week. I blame the frustrations of having to fill in my self assessment tax return. I really should offload this onto a professional instead of trying to squirm my way through something that I only partially understand.

Sorry, Rant over and onto the task at hand. I’ve come across some complete gems for you this week including a Family Ticket to see Ben and Holly Live from Chelsea Mamma and another chance to Win this can be found at Kiddycharts.

Win a Pamper Hamper (go on take a look, it’s not what you think) from the Mini Me’s and Me Blog.

How about a lovely boquet to brighten up a room and your day. There’s a chance to Win a Peach Melba Bouquet and Chocolates from Chic Geek Diary.

Ha ha –  I had a Twitter conversation about glamping the other day and the practicalities of wearing heels camping. The very lady in question is having a Fab Giveaway on her blog at the moment to Win a Family Set of Croc Wellington’s. Hop over to The Little Lilypad to enter this.

If you are a new parent or have a friend that is soon-to-be then check out this chance to Win a copy of A Survival Guide for New Parent from A Baby Makes Thre.

Well apart from it being a Tuesday today, it’s also my Mum’s birthday so Happy Birthday Mum (which I have delivered in person as I’m not sure my Mum would know what a blog is let alone read it).

On to the business at hand. With Christmas done and dusted our personal interests have turned to summer holidays and getting away from this awful weather. Although if it was to snow, I will get outside and build the obligatory snowman and throw the odd snowball with the best of them.

So on a cheery note are some of the Fantastic Competitions we’ve stumbled across such as the chance to Win a Cosatto Yo Ahoy! Pushchair from The Life and Times of the Working Mum. We fell in love with the Cosatto range when we bought our Cosatto Cabi in 2010 and are still using it now.

Win a Moshi Monsters Goody Baby over at Kiddy Charts.

Something that will appeal to many (including me) is the chance to Win some Time Reversal Cream over at The Diary of a Jewellery Lover Blog.

So here’s what we found :-

So it’s 2013 and I’m sure most of us are feeling the pinch with the expense of Christmas. What better time to try your luck with some great competitions and bag yourself some great products and treats for the family and home.

I’ve been chatting to some competitioners recently and it seems that there are various styles to entering competitions. Do you only enter competitions with prizes that you would find useful/in need of?

Do you enter competitions in the hope that you can sell the prizes on for some much needed family cash?

Or do you simply love the buzz of entering competitions and winning a prize regardless of the item?

Many of the people I chat to enter competitions to be able to treat their children and friends.

Here are some great competitions that we found (including our fab ones as well).
