Christmas Countdown – 28 Days to Go!

28 Days to go until Christmas!

If you’re not already, it’s definitely time to get into the festive mood. We’ve attended a couple of Christmas Fayres in the last couple of week’s, the last of which was at Bramdean School in Exeter which was fantastic. Set in a gorgeous chapel with a huge wooden door complete with an organ, and looking very festive with two huge real Christmas trees and hoards of well dressed and impressively polite children.

My next door neighbour at the Fayre was a lovely lady selling Usborne Books and we chatted the time away inbetween customers and browsers.

A special thanks to Karen from www.allabouttheboys.co.uk who organised the event, and invited us along!

Where will be pop up next!

Christmas Countdown – 34 days to go!

34 Days to go until Christmas!

What’s your Christmas Day routine?

Ours is, me laying awake in bed willing Mister to wake up so that we can go downstairs to see what Santa has left. This is going to be slightly different this year as our Little Miss will be fifteen months old and is likely to be our morning wake-up call of around 5.30 – 6am.

Mister traipses in stocking in hand and we usually sit in bed whilst he delves in (it also gives Mr a chance to wake up). This only last about five minutes before the pestering followed by quilt pinching attempts to get us downstairs.

We then go downstairs, Mister upfront to find all the presents  under the tree. We’re then very cruel and head to the kitchen to make much needed coffee for the impending triatholon of present opening. Mister then chooses something to play with (although at 12 years old he no longer ‘plays’ with things unless of course it is some sort of computer game) and we clear up before getting dressed and tidied up.

This is then followed by my parents arriving. A spot more of present opening and a cooked breakfast is had by all.

We then have a bit of a relax and a play before we head off to the in-laws for our Christmas dinner. After a thorough stuffing we do a spot more present opening and usually a game of some sort and lots of chit-chat before we finally head home laden down.

Christmas day evening is normally outstretched on the sofa following the long but usually lovely day.

Luckily for us our day is fairly relaxed, although we do have to keep to times or the whole thing is at risk of being a stressful situation.

36 Days until Christmas!

We attended The Erme Primary School Christmas Fayre today and so due to this I wasn’t quick enough to get today’s countdown post ready in time to post.

I’m quite excited though as I have some great gift ideas for Daddy, Gorgeous Nursery furniture and a great range of baby and toddler skincare range to share with you.

We’ve been very busy putting together the Advent Calendar Competition which starts as an Advent Calendar on the 1st December with some great competitions and prizes right through to Christmas Eve.

Keep your eyes peeled!
