Just for you Boys!

I fear that having had a little girl recently it has influenced my buying for the site, and it definitely has a predominantly girly thing going on at the moment.

To rectify the situation and by way of apology, we’ve added a new selection of Inch Blue Shoes just for you Boys.

Changes to the blog

Changes to the Blog

We thought we’d make some changes to the blog. Although the focus is very much on our family business, we thought we’d highlight any events or happenings within the Westcountry (Devon) area for families with children of all ages.

With two children of our own aged nine months and twelve years we have to be rather imaginative with activities that we choose, but with such lovely surroundings there’s always something to do.

So to kick off the new addition the focus is going to be ‘What’s on for Fathers Day’.

Events to follow……

The truth about voucher codes and how you can use them to your advantage By Dealsformums

In today’s world, retailers always have a sale on. The financial circumstances that we all find ourselves in, mean that there’s not a lot of shopping actually taking place. Retailers know this and are doing their best to entice us all into their stores with mid-season sales and special promotions. But, that’s not all.

Did you know that as well as the ‘up front’ promotions, many retailers also release special codes to be used in their online stores. A lot of these codes are never promoted on the retailers own websites so many customers never get to use them and get extra savings.

Why?
Retailers already drop their profit margins when they launch a sale meaning they make less money. With a voucher code on top, they lose even more and make even less.

So why do they do it?
Well, its all about sales volumes. The majority of a retailers customers will go direct to the store, shopping their main offer (sale, 25% off, whatever the offer is). The retailers do the calculations and work out that as long as the majority of their customers only shop on a particular offer, then they can make a certain amount of money. However, retailers are greedy and they want more money and more sales, so, to select few, they give these special voucher codes with an even better or different offer. It normally means that people will get a better deal and the retailer will make less money, but since the retailers send these extra special codes normally out to audiences that aren’t their own, they tend to get sales they wouldn’t otherwise get so it works out worthwhile for the retailer.

So where can you find them?
There are a whole heap of sites that promote discount codes and promotional vouchers. We all like to save money and we all love a bargain. Trying to make the best savings normally takes a great deal of research. At www.Dealsformums.co.uk, we make it a lot easier with our website featuring the latest offers, deals and voucher codes that help today’s mums with their shopping and helping them to save money on their purchases.

What can you get codes for?
There are codes for everything – travel and holidays to groceries and fashion. Dealsformums has all of these and more. There are plenty of regular Argos voucher codes which can save a lot of a whole range of different items. Very popular on the site are Boden discount codes which will help you and your family look great!

How to use voucher codes
The good news is that not only can you benefit from these codes and save yourself a pretty penny or two, but you can also get even more savings. As well as benefiting from retailers main promotions, make sure you check our website to see if there are any codes you can use too. You can normally use them on top of any other offer. Sometimes there will be many different codes from a particular retailer based on different spend levels so depending on what and how much you buy, check that the code you’re using gives the best discount.

Now for the good bit!
In some cases, you can also use more than one code at a time which means that you can get tonnes more money off then you thought possible! Argos is an example of a site where you can do this and there are many others that allow this too, Barratts, Homebase and more. It’s always worth trying to enter more than one as you might find that you can save a lot more than you thought!
